The AKAWA Project is our main partnership in Burundi. This season we have selected a natural processed Red Bourbon from the Kiyonza processing station. The Kiyonza mill is one of 13 mills that form the Akawa project. The project's main aims are to provide above market pricing and agricultural advice for producers, and also world class processing, delivering us an amazing Natural coffee that tastes of Yellow Plum, Golden Syrup and Shortbread.
