Yodesa's journey from a background in mining to agriculture led him to the world of coffee, where he discovered its remarkable ability to bring communities together. Nestled just a 45-minute drive southwest of Shakisso, Mormora thrives at elevations ranging from 1,800 to 2,100 meters above sea level.

Mormora Farm covers a vast 200 hectares, primarily dedicated to semi-forest coffee. The coffee trees thrive alongside natural shade plants, which not only protect them from the sun but also enrich the soil with decomposing leaves and debris. The farm is proudly organic certified, reflecting its commitment to responsible agriculture. The meticulous management of the farm involves a rejuvenation cycle for the coffee trees every twenty-five years. New seedlings, sourced from nearby "mother trees" that are local heirloom varieties, are planted annually. The farm also collaborates with local smallholders, providing them with opportunities for coffee purchases and valuable training at both the farm and mill levels.

In addition to Yodesa's 200 hectares, the region is home to 400 small coffee producers who deliver their coffee to the Mormora washing station. These dedicated growers, each owning 1–2 hectares of land, play a crucial role in the coffee's journey, contributing to the unique flavors that you'll find in your cup.
