Benedicto Yara grows coffee with his family out in Huila, Colombia. It’s a small operation, just him, his wife Amparo, and their son Yeison. They’ve been at it for years, keeping things simple and sticking to what they know best—growing damn good coffee.
A few years ago, Benedicto had a heart attack, but his family kept things going. Now, Yara Coffee is stronger than ever, still run by the same hands that have been in the dirt for generations.
They only grow Caturra, and everything’s kept old-school—washed, fermented, and dried in a solar drier right on the farm. The result? Dried Mango, Golden Peach, and Caramel in every sip.
We first met Benedicto back in 2013 while visiting his farm. Now, we’re stoked to have his coffee back on our shelves.
