The Gondo factory is part of the Kiriti Farmers Cooperative Society, with over 560 members contributing cherry from the lush hills of Murang’a. It’s a classic Kenyan set-up: farmers carefully handpick ripe cherries, deliver them to the station, where they’re pulped, fermented, washed clean, and spread out to dry in the sun on raised beds.
The result? Exactly what you want from a top Kenyan lot — bright, structured, and moreish. This coffee leans into a softer, sweeter side of Kenya, with juicy rock melon, a malty backbone, and a buttery shortbread finish.
Brew it on filter or batch and you’ll see why Gondo is one of those factories we keep coming back to: simple process, incredible results, and a community of growers delivering the goods year after year.
